The Elf on the Shelf!

Our "Elf on the Shelf" is named Clyde. He has been with us for over a week now. Clyde loves to find new spots everyday after he goes back to the North Pole to report to Santa what went on that day in our home. He makes sure that the kids are being good! I will post some of Clyde's hiding spots here!

Kitchen Set!

Our new kitchen set arrived last night. It's so beautiful and comfortable to sit at! :)

French Bread

Rachel and I made french bread yesterday. I had bad luck with bread in the past, so I really hoped that this would turn out edible. We sliced into it for a pre-dinner treat. It was so yummy! Rachel ate 3 slices (with no crust), Matt told me that I could make it again. I'm so happy that it turned out well. If you have a Kitchen Aid Mixer, it's the French Bread recipe in the guide book.

Rachel's birthday party: Sept. 27th

We are thinking about doing Thanksgiving again this year. Please let us know if you are interested in coming over! It should be a fin time. I think we are going to do a late Thanksgiving and have a big dinner on Friday (Tim's birthday!) and have something smile like burgers on the grill on Thursday. I hope this will help all of our travelers!

Thanksgiving Info.

Dinner will be between 3:30pm and 4pm (hopefully). Come hungry, there is lots of food!

Let me know when you plan to arrive. I'm thinking noon, but let me know if you are coming earlier (if I don't know already).

There will be 15 people (please let me know if I need to add more).

Bring clothes for football, there will most likely be a game before/after dinner.

Be prepared for an energetic 1 year old!
