10 days!

10 more days until we will have a house full of people. I'm excited and nervous! I hope there is enough food and enough room for everyone!

ACK! Only 20 more days until Thanksgiving! So much to do!

Rachel's birthday party was a success!

Now we start to get ready for Thanksgiving!
We have an activity planned and food almost all of the way planned.

It's going to be a fun time!

Getting ready!

We're getting ready for the big party on Sept. 29th! Hopefully we can have a lot of the things done that we wanted to get done.

I'm still working on getting some boxes cleared out of the basement. Man, that take a long time!

Kitchen Paint

On the 4th Mom H and I painted the kitchen. It is pretty and green now! :)
Excuse my mess, I'm still putting things away from the move.

Yay House!

We have been in our house for a week now and things are starting to look good. We had a ton of help with everything, so thank you to all that helped us! I'll take some pictures of what we have been up to next week!

House Walk-Through!

The walk through was great. There was nothing left in there so it was fun to see how big it looked in there. All of the curtains were left for us and they match the colors that we had planned for the rooms. The only complaint would be that is was dirty in there. We think they hired movers and the movers left pens, and scraps of paper and other dirt things on the floors. Nothing a little vacuuming wouldn't take care of. There were also a few places that needed some steam cleaning. Looks like we have a bit of work to do! We went out and bought our paint for Rachel's room and the kitchen today! We also bought our new doorknobs/locks. We are ready! 4 more days! :D

1 week!

One week from today we will be in our house!!! :D

We have the final walk-through on Saturday at 1pm!

Yay! So exciting! I hope that Rachel is felling better by then.

House Update

Well, we drove by the house this weekend and we think that the sellers have moved out. The wreath on the door is no longer there, so we are taking that as a sign that they are out. So exciting! :) Now that it's June it seems so much closer to being ours! :)
